STONED MACHINE
HUMAN REGRESSION
A hard stoner class directly from the Ravenna area. HUMAN This regression shows a band that was already active since 2003, wants to get involved in a complicated and prohibitive market like the Italian and beyond, showing unusual maturity and gave birth to a disc loaded with great ideas and quality significant.
At first listen it feels just edged guitar typically thrown by the stoner with the opening track Intoxication and then landing on beaches with most tending to grunge BACK TO LIVE IN ME. The sound really STONED MACHINE Kyuss and HUMAN REGRESSION, only the first two tracks, seems to continue the conversation and the huge void left by that seminal band. IF YOU CAN with the atmosphere start to get more heavy and the band pushes on the accelerator with a piece that leaves no escape routes and everything is accompanied by the voice of Luke Damasso, a singer with considerable vocal timbre, mixing strings DAVE Windorf (MONSTER MAGNET) to those of Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots). The next piece, BED OF SIN, continues the desert journey undertaken by the band until we get to that beautiful OCEAN is more subdued but no less rock. SHUT UP and FIRE IN MY HANDS Kyuss are highly oriented and seem to come directly from the hands of Josh Homme and John Garcia; OUT OF MY WAY mixes grunge to metal and is supported by a riffone that seems born of the guitar of Tom Morello.
After the wall of sound pieces of earlier, here we are at a small masterpiece of the album: LISTEN TO THE WIND, an enviable track acoustic beauty that transports the listener on a journey relaxed and dreamy sound that exudes passion for freedom. After the brackets
noise the situation is again with thunderous metal HUMAN regression, with a catchy refrain, leads the listener to the conclusion of the album. HUMAN
regression is a really good album with a good number of pieces that will delight both fans of stoner / doom that most of those rock / grunge. It 's a well done disc marked by lowered walls of guitars and a rhythm section and stoner metal that is typically broken on the final as a gioellino LISTEN TO THE WIND.
STONED MACHINE: a nice surprise all Italian, this is a sign that we, if we want, we do quality music.
