CARVER CITY, disco 2009, great for myself forgetting . The CKY (Camp Kill Yourself ie) is an American rock band that we do not know anyone and that the U.S. is a huge success. CARVER CITY is their fourth album and the business card with Roadrunner now considered the No. 1 record for the art to win new talents in 'area hard rock / metal. I decided to write about this record because I was deeply impressed by the sound of the original source of this band. Listening to the album, the first illustrious predecessors who come to mind are Black Sabbath a bit 'more psychedelic pop and trace how the magnetic HELLIONS ON PARADE or sabbathian KARMAWORKS then move on to psychedelics and electronic solutions that make me sound mind typical of 'hard rock / metal Scandinavian masters of most commercial Soilwork (... AND SHE NEVER returned), hard rock sounds that combine electronics supported by a rhythm section that combines diverse lines rock / prog and pop as the best workmanship in Tracks hallucinated as Plagued BY IMAGES or WOE IS ME, all seasoned with experience rock / pop / dance as A # 1 ROLLER Rager that softens a bit like a fruit salad 'the first taste of the piece more prog album, CARVER'S OLD BONES, reminiscent a bit 'in our version GOBLIN metalheads, the piece would be seriously considered as the ideal soundtrack to a horror movie. We're here to
ballatona that closes the album, THE ERA OF AN END; was a bit 'I have not heard a complaining way.
was a bit 'not a group felt so strange in a music scene dominated by the component and MTV all over the garbage that has been dragging behind.
To be honest, the disk is not a masterpiece but it is definitely a nice alternative to all the crap that is sold today.
Highly recommended, however, because the special edition version contains four bonus tracks which are small masterpieces: the instrumental Fisherman's Wharf, Fisherman's Wharf and PT.1, PT.2 and rockettoni pop visionaries like Doubled Up and STRIPPED TRAUMA ON YOUR SPEECH. CARVER CITY
So it is a nice salad leaves you kindly listen to all those who seek something different and enjoyable.
Note the beautiful artwork of the great TRAVIS SMITH, alternative and eclectic artist, who also covers the names of hard rock / metal like Nevermore, Katatonia, Iced Earth etc. .... The artwork of the album recalls the horror film The Fog, one of the masterpieces of the great JOHN CARPENTER.
